The Departmental Irrigation Plan of Cundinamarca is an instrument that guides the planning and management of the territory; it focuses and prioritizes investments, in accordance with the specificities of the territory, national and departmental policies, in order to contribute to the increase of agricultural productivity and the promotion of rural development in the department. The plan has a projection to 2039, in accordance with the National Irrigation Plan.

This guide contains directions, criteria and instruments to carry out, on one hand, an ex-post evaluation of a land adaptation program or project, comparing the initial situation of the project with the conditions of the district already in operation; and, on the other hand, to analyze risks, perceptions of beneficiaries and participating institutions throughout the process, as well as specific evaluations of social, economic, environmental and infrastructure impacts on production.

The objective of this project is to identify lands for irrigation according to their physical potential, for an efficient targeting of irrigation systems, characterizing them from the ecosystem, socioeconomic and surface water resource components, in a generalized context.

This guide brings together the technical, legal, regulatory, and financial elements necessary so that those interested in advancing Land Development Projects (ADT) under the PPP modality have a tool that instructs them on the minimum requirements, the scope of information, and the steps for the proper structuring of projects.
