The National Federation of Cereal and Legume Growers (Fenalce) and UPRA participated in the development of suitability zoning for commercial cultivation of corn with increasing technology in warm weather, which should be understood as a fundamental tool to organize the countryside and give to farmers, producers, unions and investors who want to venture into this crop, a practical instrument that contributes to the national, departmental and municipal productive planning. Zoning helps guide the formulation, execution, and targeting of public policies and instruments for the sector.
