UPRA will present the Agro-Logistics Plan at Expomalocas

We will promote the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two institutions, the Meta Governor's Office, and UPRA.
Bogotá D.C., (@UPRAColombia, @claudialili76). The Meta department will have an Agro-Logistics Plan. This was announced by the Agricultural Rural Planning Unit (UPRA) and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the region, which will be unveiled at the Expomalocas Fair in Villavicencio in 2024.
The Secretary of Agriculture, Eugenia Ramírez, stated: "Together with UPRA, we developed a Departmental Agro-Logistics Plan, which we will present at the Expomalocas Fair, where entrepreneurs, producers, academia, and other stakeholders will be present."
In addition, the Technical Director of Social Organization of Property and Rural Land Market at UPRA, Dora Inés Rey, commented: "We will promote the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two institutions, the Meta Governor's Office, and UPRA, to combine efforts and technical teams, and continue with the planning of productive and social organization of rural property."
The Agriculture Secretary mentioned that "we will reactivate the memorandum of understanding with new offers to strengthen the agricultural sector of the department."
Finally, UPRA and the Agriculture Department of Meta will establish a working agenda for the next four years to advance planning issues in the field and, in this way, benefit the producers.
