The Rural Land Planning, Land Adaptation, and Agricultural Use Unit (UPRA) aims to guide land management policy for agricultural uses. To achieve this, UPRA plans and produces guidelines, indicators, and technical criteria for decision-making on the social ordering of rural land ownership, the efficient use of land for agricultural purposes, land adaptation, the rural land market, and the monitoring and evaluation of public policies in these areas, in accordance with Decree Law 4145 of 2011. Thus, UPRA does not issue administrative acts or general regulations in the development of its mission objective, but it does make available to the community the projects and administrative acts in which the entity has participated.
